Komala's (已結業)

this is an indian sweet. not sure what it's made off. definitely has lots of sugar. every bit is a sugar bomb. very interesting. not sure what the colourful bits are either. i think it's made of chickpeas, sugar and ghee. so it's rather greasy. it's fresh so it doesn't have a rancid taste despite all that grease. the texture is a bit grainy, probably from semolina. i've had better ladoos else where, but this one is pretty good. could be more flavourful. costs about $2.50
