Dallas Restaurant and Bar is conveniently situated (for the Raffles Place crowd) at Boat Quay. The furnishing is really quirky and American-inspired: on the first floor is that of a cowboy-theme whereas the second floor has a classy theme much akin to a restaurant. The bar snacks were not too bad, albeit a little expensive. We had the salt and pepper calamari. The squid is very chewy and encapsulated in a delicious batter. We also had fried chicken which we found was as good as the fried calamar
