I went to this restaurant by a friend's recommendation that it serves "fairly big portions", "cheap" and "No GST or service charge". She warned that the taste could be sub-par due to the price... but we went anyway, to try it out. I ordered the Seafood Tomato Pasta, which was actually quite delicious with the sauce. However, there were very few prawns (like only four out of the entire bowl) and also very few other seafood inside. The serving is just right, I could feel full but not overly full.
The restaurant is also quite interesting because there is a bell for you to ring for service. Before we noticed the bell, we tried attracting the attention of one of the waitresses, but she pointed to the bell. After we rang the bell, she came over and served us! It's quite strange.
There is also free flow drinks for $2.90 each. It states there no sharing, but we shared anyway and nobody came to stop us. There is Ice Lemon Tea, Orange Juice, Barley and the normal range of carbonated drinks.
The place is quite crowded but at the same time, it is big. So there's no stress for you to stay longer to chat with your family or friends.
It is indeed a more budget option in Liang Court where everything else is more expensive unless you go to a fast food restaurant.
