Once bitten twice shy. A lesson was learned last year when I tried to order a Christmast Log Cake from Swensen or any other places at the eleventh hour. Everywhere had its log cake reserved or sold out and this year I did the reservation a few weeks earlier and it was all worth the effort.Ordered the Santa's Cookies Summit which was inpsired by the cookies submit sundae. Ordered the Santa's Cookies Summit which was inpsired by the cookies submit sundae. Its Mountain of cream coated the ice cream cake was fresh cream and the cookies and cream flavours of the ice cream was hard and chilling, totally suits everyone appetite during the gathering.
During transaction with the cashier, they told us that plastic knife was not provided and I was advised to use a metal knife to cut the cake as the ice cream was hard.
In summary, I'm glad that I had make the right choice in Swensens's Ice Cream Log Cake, I wont hesitate to get another one next year.
