Other than Mee Siam and fried bee hoon, this stall offers Lontong in the morning for choice of breakfast. Just like Mee Siam, it usually sold out before 11:00 am then they switched to sell nonya style economic rice till about 1 pm before the stall is closed for the day. This particular one is rather simple served in sweet gravy and no overwhelmed coconut taste. The vegetable was cooked nicely and not to the point of mushy and infused with the savory gravy taste. The fried tau kwa was bursting with the gravy as well. The rice was nicely steamed to give it a soft texture and it complemented really well with the gravy, the fried tau kwa and not forgetting, the curry vegetables.
Though i have asked for extra chilli but the spiciness is still pretty mild but it enhanced the overall taste perfectly.
This stall is my regular choice for breakfast and lunch. Strongly recommended.
