I have been reading reviews from social media on Strangers’ Reunion Cafe and finally got the chance to dine in. The cafe place is opened by three-time Singapore National Barista Championship winner and second runner-up of the World Latte Art Championships, Ryan Tan. Thus, this explains the awesomeness of the coffee served. My friend and me decided to have our cafe hopping monthly and this is our first stop. My friend and me decided to have our cafe hopping monthly and this is our first stop. We decided to have dinner on friday night after work. It’s approximately 10-15 mins walking distance from Outram Park station. There are direct bus back to Bedok Interchange from the opposite bus stop.
We reached the cafe around 8pm and we still managed to get a seat. Lucky us! We were seated and served with menu and ice water. We looked around and see other tables serving and decide what to eat.
Here are the foods that we ordered that night. We were kinda disappointed as the serving sequence is unusual. We were served waffles first instead of the main course and the staff told us that we should inform them earlier on the sequence before serving. Staff feedback that some of the customers will have waffles as main course instead. So, if you are going to dine in, it would be good if you inform the staff on the sequence of your serving to avoid any disappointment.
Our dinning experience was good but we do have difficulties seeking attention from the staffs. The cafe was full house and the staffs are busy fulfilling the orders. However, the staff still shows a smile on her face despite of overwhelming busy operation. We foot our bill of S$69.40 ( inclusive 10% service charge) at the cashier counter. The staff even greet us with conversation and welcomes our feedback too.
