I have tried satay from many places. Muslim-style and Chinese-style satay do have their differences. The former tends to be more compact whilst the latter contains bits of fatty parts easily visible to the naked eye. Chong Pang City’s satay are bbqed till tender and marinated tasty. I have a deeper impression of their pork satay though as unlike most traditional Chinese satay stalls, the ones here contain less fatty parts and somehow taste in pale similar comparison to roasted char siew meat. I have a deeper impression of their pork satay though as unlike most traditional Chinese satay stalls, the ones here contain less fatty parts and somehow taste in pale similar comparison to roasted char siew meat. I have also tried their pork and chicken, either which are delightfully bbqed. Apart from satay, they do sell pre-packed nasi lemak wrapped in banana leaf in a triangular shape and bbq chicken wings and spring chicken too.
