I used to frequent a Vietnamese noodle restaurant when I was studying in Melbourne - it was one of the decent and more affordable "Asian" food that you could get in Australia. But when I came back to Singapore, I seldom ate at any Vietnamese restaurants until today.This is a newly opened restaurant located at the crossroads between ION and Lido Shaw. That area is quite a high-traffic area with many passerbys going from ION to Shaw, so it is a rather good place to set up a restaurant at!I ordered

I ordered the Beef Combination which came with beef slices, beef balls and beef tendons (or I think they were some kind of beef insides anyway). I'm not really a fan of eating the insides of animals, so I only had the beef slices and beef balls which were quite tough in texture. The soup was quite tasty but I think the portion was too small (even for a light eater like myself). The more authentic Vietnamese restaurants (like the one in Melbourne) would usually serve their noodles with a plate of mint leaves at the side which you can add in to your liking. Here, the mint leaves were already in the soup and was rather soggy already when it came.Overall, I felt that the food here was just average and I don't think it will be worth a second visit.
