Attended my friend's wedding dinner at Peony Jade Restaurant. As I don't frequent clark quay that much, had a hard time finding the place. It was actually located on the second storey of the shop houses. I love the whole ambiance of this place. Tables are not too far apart and the lights are not too strong creating a very cozy feeling. The 8 dishes are wonderful. Almost every dishes were wiped up and there's no wastage of food. The chef also put in a great deal of effort to make the fishes looks
The 8 dishes are wonderful. Almost every dishes were wiped up and there's no wastage of food. The chef also put in a great deal of effort to make the fishes looks nice and presentable. For example the cold dish, the middle part was beautifully sculptured. The King Prawn dish is another example. Looks at the mini decorative on the spoon by the side. So wonderfully crafted. The dish itself is special as I usually had cereal prawn but this time round, the prawn is coated with egg yolk!
It's a great place with nice food. Can consider holding a wedding here next time too!
