Omzyn Cake is another traditional bakery shop located in Bukit Batok Central which is just a stone throw away from the bus interchange. It's always good to visit such bakery once in a while after having too much of breads and buns from other bakery chains.What I like about traditional bakery is that upon looking at the available buns and loaves, they usually gave me a few minutes to step back and enjoy a flashback of some moments when I was a kid. What I like about traditional bakery is that upon looking at the available buns and loaves, they usually gave me a few minutes to step back and enjoy a flashback of some moments when I was a kid. Just like the chocolate rice buns, it's not easy to get to see them in the chains bakery nowadays and I was overjoyed to see them.We had ordered 3 of them and a cheese bun. The bun flavours and design was very straight forward, traditional and nothing fanciful. Chocolate rice layer filled the top of the bun and almost to the edge, similarly for the cheese bun, the spread was generous. Simple yet making the customer (me) contented.
