popeye's chicken

I went to cathay to watch movie with my girlfriend and after the movie, we headed to popeye for dinner. I think popeye serves one of the best fried chicken in town. Firstly just by the size of each piece, you can tell that it is very value for money. The chicken thigh was really large and meaty too. When you peel open the skin, normally you will expect oil to flow out but this was not the case for popeye’s chicken. The skin was very crispy and taste really good. The biscuit that they serve with

When you peel open the skin, normally you will expect oil to flow out but this was not the case for popeye’s chicken. The skin was very crispy and taste really good. The biscuit that they serve with the chicken taste really good, very soft and buttery and it simply melts in your mouth. It goes really well with the strawberry jam. My girlfriend suggested we order two different sides to share, she ordered the coslaw and fries. The fries were good, very crispy and seasoned perfectly. The coslaw tasted great too, the dressing was very light and refreshing. Really enjoyed it.
