Tong Lai Eating House was packed with senior citizens over breakfast on a Tuesday Weekday morning. The crowded coffeeshop again at Bukit Batok makes choosing a dish for breakfast seems difficult, simply because most of the tables had either one of the stall dishes on the table, leaving me no clues which of them is a better choice.

The lively and noisy coffee shop consists of stalls selling Kway Chap to Bah Chor Mee. Was quite impress by the Prawn Noodle service, it was pretty fast, I would say faster than expected. One moment we were at the stall ordering, the next moment the lady was ready to serve the prawn mee soup on our tables.

Prawn Noodle was standardfare with prawns, lean meat, fishcakes and kang gong - the common ingredients we usually get for a bowl prawn mee. However, one thing we notice was that the prawns were well processed, saving us the trouble to peel their scales off.

The soup was light but tasty. Overall, I quite contented over this simple bowl of Prawn Noodle for breakfast.
