Rather than ajisen ramen which really is not ramen after you tried the best ramen in town, thank goodness for waraku, plus the fact that batavia air is at T2 instead of 1! Hooray. Ordered this dish for the first time because the peeled prawns looked good on top of the carbonara sauce ($14.80). It came ultra fast, after the measly normal salad that comes along with the pasta, i think in less than 10 minutes, my dish came out! Also they refill immediately without me having to call them to ask for a fill. Even could choose whether you want warm, ice, or hot water. Tops for the service.
Dish was well, as expected, NOT SPICY. Well well, nothing new in Singapore. So the parmesan cheese and chilli powder and black pepper came to aid - the cheese made the sauce creamier and rich in the taste with even more tangy and salty, the chilli which just adds a little spice with the black pepper.
Quite a lot for a portion though, the spaghetti is cooked just right, as springy and not too soft and hard. With the salad, the whole portion just sits nicely!
Then I had a good rest on board the plane all filled up.
