Located within walking distance of Tanjong Pagar MRT is Miss Molly's. The staff were friendly over fb messenger and even directed me to the nearest parking location. Located within walking distance of Tanjong Pagar MRT is Miss Molly's. The staff were friendly over fb messenger and even directed me to the nearest parking location. So before I even got to the place, I knew their service levels were top notch!
Upon walking in, you are greeted by their cake display on the right and their iconic rainbow cake that has been making it's way around instagram is so pretty and eye catching. Their other cakes are also very beautifully decorated and I had wanted to try them all!
Their menu is pretty simple, some pizza, pasta, etc. The only problem I had with it, was that it mentions "vegan options available" at the bottom of the menu. My friend from France was a vegan and so as we glanced through the menu we couldn't only see 2 actual vegan dishes, truffle mushroom pizza and one of the pastas. When we asked for the vegan options for the burgers, we were shocked to be told, there was no substitution for the meat for a vegan option. So technically, there's NO vegan options available. Moving on, we decided to just order the truffle mushroom pizza since, my French lady friend was starving, rather than head elsewhere.
The interior is very uniform, neat and tidy. There's also a TV advertising their promotions, from which I found out that NUS students and Alumni get 10% off! Oooops. I wish I knew that earlier.

One of the main reasons we suddenly decided to visit Miss Molly's was because of their tea sets, and based on their promotion picture on facebook we were excited to try it.

The tea was very refreshing and we enjoyed eating the cake and drinking the refreshing minty green tea. It was a good pairing for the cake and the tea!
On the bright side, the cake tasted good. Any earl grey cake lovers would love this!
But this was very demoralizing to see them serve this cake to us melted!

Paired with the tea, the tea itself was sweet and fragrant. We finished it so quickly we had to ask for a hot water refill almost instantly!The cake is very moist, yet all the layers hold firmly together. The buttercream wasn't too sweet, and it was very smooth. I love the super vibrant colours of this rainbow cake. I was too happy with this rainbow cake, I almost completely forgot about the melted earl grey cake that sat just inches away from this.
All in all, Yes I would come back to Miss Molly's to try their cakes, and I'm a huge fan of their rainbow cake!

The bill for was reasonable I felt for the cakes. But I think we will have to try some of the other main courses, because I saw other customers ordering the pasta, and it looked delicious!
There is 7% GST, but no 10% service charge. Help yourself to the iced water. You can park at the URA parking in Tanjong Pagar plaza just across from Miss Molly's it's $2/hour or free on sundays
