Given a box of swiss roll in a traditional boring old looking box and was told to distribute and share the joy. The swiss roll was wrapped with another layer of transparent plastic packaging in the box, rolled up and I thought, its just another traditional cake again. I didnt even take a second look and headed into the pantry. I took the knife, cut and distribute the roll equally as told. Mistakenly assumed that it was a pandan swiss roll until I had a closer look at the box, it was actually kay
I took one of the slices and pop it into my mouth immediately. To my surprised it give me a very different feel and jumped in joy. Boy! It was just too good to be true and way above my expectation! Without further ado, I text some of the close colleagues to gather at my place and share the goodies.
The chilled homemade kaya cake once bitten had given me a burst of sensual pleasures that I haven't come across on any cakes so far. The cakes are far more than fluffy with the spongy layers rolled up forming a nice sweet swirls by the sides. Taste of kaya swiss rolls were heavenly, rich and good as what the cake shop name is, something to die for.
