First thing you observe is you no longer see the crowd and the servers dun seem that familiar. I recall always seeing the uncle with black frame specs taking my orders. First thing you observe is you no longer see the crowd and the servers dun seem that familiar. I recall always seeing the uncle with black frame specs taking my orders. Anyway at this new location, they are just meters away from mustafa centre. Human traffic is there but parking may still be a concern. Tip will be to park at mustafa and leave within an hour, i remember mustafa is free parking for 1st hour or something. They occupied 2 units at this kim san leng coffee shop. From the signage i can see usual kang kong and toufu, but there's also dishes like sambal sotong and prawn. Initially they were also offering noodles and yam rice as an option but have since removed it from the menu. I ordered 1 person portion with porridge. I first tasted the sauce, glad the sauce quality was still good, sweet and slightly starchy. But the meat seems to have dropped in quality, i no longer taste the smooth and soft duck meat, this time it was slightly tougher and dry. Chilli is still the same, mixture of belachan and light chiili sauce. For the 1 pax portion and 1 porridge , it cost $5.50. Certainly hope the quality improves else at this kind of pricing in this area, they may struggle soon IMO. By the way, its self service now instead of being served.
