Eat fast though because if you leave the mussels hanging around for too long and they get cold, you are not doing this dish a service at all. Also, the bread would become soft and then it doesn't taste as good. This dish is normally served before your main course comes and from experience it normally lasts a few minutes before everybody starts fighting for the last bit of sauce to soak their bread in.
