Did the restaurant live up to my expections? YES!!!

I had the "Stone Pot Siced Pork with Salted Fish" and it reminded me of my childhood, when Mum served up salted fish often.
The dish was as tasty as I'd hoped it would be, it wasn't oily and had just the right amount of 'crust' on my rice. And despite being late, my meal was still piping hot when I arrived! I suspect, anyone who either didn't grow up eating salted fish, or dislikes salty food may find this dish overpowering, but I believe you can request for the fish to be omitted.

My only disappointment, that I hadn't booked a taxi and arrived earlier, as I missed a delicious soup and other sides according to my dining table companions, Kelly & Wes. That's okay, I'll be back to try the soup and other Stone Pot dishes. The "Water Chestnut" cold drink complimented the meal and was finished off with a large scoop of brightly coloured mango ice cream. I personally prefer mango sorbet, with a natural fruit flavoured tang, rather than the artificially sweet ice cream.

The restaurant is very clean, bright and spacious, which is great for someone like me with a 3 yo and 10 mth old baby in a pram.

Looking forward to returning with the family to relive the experience (and give a pram-ometer* rating!)

*pram-ometer rating; my take on how accommodating a restaurant/cafe is for a classic Maclaren pram that isn't overly wide and easily manoeuvres in/out of tight spaces.
