Starbucks is always one of my favourite choice for high tea, be it in Singapore or overseas! Starbucks is always one of my favourite choice for high tea, be it in Singapore or overseas! I am a crazy fan of Starbucks, I had more than 20 Starbucks cards over my half year of collection and some are from overseas!


I have been to many Starbucks outlets in Singapore and some outlets are better than others in term of atmosphere and specific outlets have better baristas that brew real nice coffee, and one of them is located at Vivo City! This Starbucks outlet is always busy, maybe due to its centralised location.

But I really love the barista that brew my favourite Hojicha Tea Latte! Usually, it is either too creamy or too bitter (and also leaving an astringency behind). I like the foam particularly, which I think not many baristas are able to achieve the strong thick foam floating above the tea (many are mix together when pouring into the cups).

I had ordered another Chiffon cake to go with Hojicha at $5.50. Honestly, that is my first time trying it. I think it is overly expensive, it tastes like those normal chiffon cakes that we can get in our neighbourhood cake shops. But one thing I must emphasize is the cream on the chiffon is different from what is used by the cake shop, it just won't make it feel sick after eating and the softness of it assure the freshness of the cake. The simple cake with some cookies bites added at the back and designed with layered cream made it perfectly attractive on the display.
