Had been patronizing here for like 3 times? Hahahaha this place serves affordable and yummy steamboat items in a 'All-You-Can-Eat' manner. A really quiet eating place as we are the ONLY customers they had in the afternoon. Perhaps it's the weekdays? The staffs were staring outside desperately. Anywayz there was a huge variety of items to choose from. Ranging from assorted veggies, meats, tofu, dumplings and others like eggs, rice and other staples. There was also 7 different broths to choose from! Chicken, sweet corn, spicy (Ma la), laksa, etc.
Besides that a-la-carte dishes can be ordered (similar to cze-char stalls) in a separate menu.
Ordered Twice from the menu. Service was quick and efficient. Ordered the sweet corn broth but was disappointed as there were only 2 unfresh corns in a lightly flavoured soup. Wasn't tasty enough for me. The other ingredients were okay, not marinaded so that you can taste the actual flavour of each ingredient. The good thing was that the broth gets more complex after more stuffs got added into it.
And be surprised by the array of sauces they provide! Garlic mixed with spring onion and sesame oil made everything nice.
OVERALL:
Great place for cheap steamboat eats, especially during lunch hours as they have a promotional price of $10.90 nett compared to the usual $18.90. Dont be shy to ask for seconds or thirds!
