This Kopitiam at Clementi is opened after a few months of renovation. I always wanted to try Ah Long new style of Pancake but never got a chance until now.I had ordered a Sugar Cheese Pancake at $1.70 each. The pancake was freshly made when ordered, so will have to wait for at least 5 minutes to be ready.The Pancake came in piping hot, outer skin was still moist and soft, not crispy. The Pancake came in piping hot, outer skin was still moist and soft, not crispy. There was a mild butter aroma from the Pancake. The taste of pancake was a bit disappointing. There was more of the taste of egg than the taste or aroma of cheese.
Overall, I would still prefer traditional flavour pancake from the hawker centre.
