There has been numerous designer and boutique cupcake shops spouting out at nooks and corners. After brunch one Saturday afternoon, we happen to pass by this little cupcake shop along robertson quay and decided to give it a try. Since they had both mini and regular sized cupcakes, I think it wouldn't be too difficult to stomach one or two after such a heavy brunch. Personally I like mini cupcakes, because it's less filling and we get to try more flavours.

The array of colourful display is really attractive, making you feel like a kid in a candy store. As I was very full from a big breakfast, I decided to go with the mini red velvet (regular S$3.95). The chocolate flavour came out quite nicely and blended with the not overly sweet cream cheese frostings. However I did find the cupcake a tad dry. Which I'm not sure if it's because of the mini size, perhaps mini cupcakes are usually drier in texture as the regular ones.

The taste was alright. Nothing much to rave about. But perhaps i could give Swirls another shot and have the regular ones instead!!
