An avid chicken rice eater, I was first attracted to Lee Kwang Kee chicken rice. The fish soup stall was just next to it and the aroma of the fish soup from an ordering customer attracted me. Since then, I got hooked and my frequency of ordering the fish soup is definitely higher than that of chicken rice.

What makes the soup really special would be the seaweed and the little bits of ikan billis and dried prawn shrimps. The fish meat is also fresh (though I would definitely remove the sticky skin and be careful of any bones). The accompany sauce of tau kee simply makes it an enjoyment from eating the fish meat .This is definitely one fish soup that got me hooked!
