Today I had the opportunity to try Pizzahut Smart Lunch which price at $8.90 with a Drink, Soup and Main. At this pricing, I would normally choose to dine at Pizzahut rather than Foddcourt. From their menu which includes Pizza, Pasta, Baked rice, etc, I had chose Traditional Bolognaise Pasta as my mains.When the Pasta arrived, I could smell the sour and savory tomata sauce. When the Pasta arrived, I could smell the sour and savory tomata sauce.
The Pasta sauce goes well with the beef meat ball and the pasta, it was slightly on the sweet and sour side, with a hint of cheese smell. Though you can ownself add more shredded cheese from the condiment bottles.
The beef meat ball was slightly soft, not bounchy type and with real minced beef texture. They do not taste like frozen ones sold in supermarket.
The pasta was a bit disappointing. It was not evenly cooked, some were soft and some were slightly dry.
Overall, the Smart Lunch was value for money, though taste was average.
