Food stalls selling Fried Meehoon can be found almost everywhere in main hawker centres or markets, affordable and quick. Often, they will offer Meehoon, Yellow Noodles, Kway Teow or Nasi Lemak. This dish was always served as a delightful breakfast for me, a very common local meal. I decided to stick to my original version, opted for Fried Meehoon with Fried Chicken with Seaweed, Lunchie Meat and Wholly-fried Egg. Certainly hearty and satisfying, Meehoon was springy with just right portion. Sambal was nicely-blended, sweetly spicy to score extra marks for my Meehoon. Price at $2.50, it was a decent way to have my fuss-free and economy breakfast.
