Tried the Bak Kut Teh noodles for the first time. It is rather special. Firstly, the soup tasted a little sweet, which was different from the usual peppery Bak Kut Teh. Secondly, the meat was substantial, unlike some other pathetic ribs I ate before which were either mostly fats or bones. However, I would prefer the meat to be softer, the type where you can practically lick the meat off the bones! Ha! This one, there's still a chewy texture to it. So, not my fav ribs yet!

Thirdly, there's a taupok inside!
Extraordinary addition to the dish but nonetheless, welcomed! (Could throw in a potato piece too! Ha!)

Lastly, this dish by default is served with yellow noodles. It didn't exactly go well for me. If I'm ordering this dish next round, I'll ask for beehoon (if possible!). I suppose the texture from beehoon would complement the taste of the dish better.
