Went to Watami at Ion Orchard last Saturday with one of my friends. Have been craving for Japanese food for a long time. Flipped over the menu, and we found that they actually provides set meal for two or four person. So, my friend and I decided to order the special food for two which cost around $55.The set meal consists of watami salad, a main dish, hot pot, additional add on to hot pot, two side dishes and two beverages. Watami salad: The salad was really awesome. The salad consists of crunchy fresh lettuce, slices of grilled chicken, mayonnaise and salmon fish egg. The salad is really a great appetizer.
OF all the dishes, my favorite are salad, hot pot and salmon sashimi. The salmon sashimi was really really fresh and every slices was thick enough. The kimchi hot pot suits me well as the soup base was sour and spicy!
