I love Swensen's weekday lunch treat! Basically for every main course you have ordered, you are entitled to a free side/drink/dessert. Haha how awesome can that be! It's damn worth it!! I went together with a friend and we decided to get a free side and a free dessert for our 2 main courses. For our main courses, I ordered crayfish pasta while my friend ordered curry chicken baked rice. As for the side, we ordered spice n chic and for our dessert, we ordered banana split!!! Firstly, for the crayfish pasta, the spaghetti with tomato sauce tasted average while the crayfish meat was quite fresh! The amount of meat in the crayfish was also quite generous.
As for the curry chicken baked rice, it was not super nice as compared to my all time favourite curry zazzle baked rice in Pizza Hut. I do not recommend this as the curry sauce they used wasn't very tasty.
As for the spice n chic, we love it as tender thigh meats were seasoned with spices and fried! It was crispy and burst with spices flavour! Shiok!
And lastly, my favourite would have to be the banana split! It's my favourite ice cream here! I like that there was 3 different flavored ice cream (chocolate, vanilla & strawberry) topped with peanut chips, whipped cream, one slice of banana and chocolate syrup! Yum yum! I really like the combination of this dessert! Plus, their ice cream are so chewy and yummy! Definitely a must-try in Swensen's Overall, it was an average experience dining here and I guessed I would only come back here again for their desserts and sides but not their main courses!
