My 2nd visit to Ubin Cooked Food within a week. We have ordered item 22 and 3, Ee fu mee and Sweet & Sour Pork Rice respectively.Ee Fu mee was not illustrated on the printed menu. Costing $3.50 for a simple plate of mee, it really makes my day. Noodles are well cooked under large flame, sauce are of the right taste, not too salty. Ingredients are of the same as Mui Fan which I had eaten from the same stall yesterday. 2 big slices of fish, some pork slices and vegetables.Sweet and sour pork rice

Sweet and sour pork rice is one of my colleagues favourites. Many in the queues have ordered this dish. The lovely egg was placed on top of the rice while waiting for the man to cook the sweet and sour pork. The pork alone tastes too sour if one did not pair it with the rice. The style of the sweet sour pork suits me totally. Neither are they hard nor too cripsy, the balls of pork are actually meat not fats. Cost at $3.00, in consideration of this amount and quality, it is worth the money. For normal dishes like this, it would probably costs $5.00 from a Zhi Char Stall.
The man would do a mass order for all the customers and did a mass cooking on a particular dish. His service and style of ordering system had make many happy customers. Even though queues are long, but this "mass production" has cut down the queue quickly.Although this is not the best food but it simply provide a decent, simple and sufficient lunch for me.
