I had mistakenly thought it was a pancake from the bakery when my colleague asked if I want a pancake for breakfast and without much hesitation I told him I need a "kosong" (empty) pancake. I was shocked to receive a old traditional pancake and gosh! what did I told him earlier? A kosong pancake! This old school pancake is a quick alternative to my breakfast as I have been having bread and mcdonalds for breakfast most of the time. I guess just the pancake alone doesnt taste good without the fill

I guess just the pancake alone doesnt taste good without the fillings. As it had been kept in the plastic bag for long, it had turned quite soggy. Everything tastes like a almost tasteless piece of "kueh" to me with light sugar.
I will never order a plain pancake like this again. . It was a big mistake to have a miscommunication. Instead, I will go for its peanut or cheese version as Ah Long Pancake are so famous for it and there are a number of Ah Long Pancakes franchise in Singapore.
