Famous for it's smooth, tendered thick and fresh sliced pieces of fish, one could not even resist to order the biggest portion. Sliced Sliced are well handled with every order individually cooked. The tasty soup with fried onion oil, chopped garlic, small dried shrimps fragrance had gained the applause of the neighborhood residents. They had also added the steamboat vegetable "tang o" which blends well with the rest of the combination.
Cost: S$4.00 for the smallest portion
An exciting balechan chilli that that leaves a chill down your spine physically not literally and with a spicy after taste lingers around your mouth. Not forgetting a burning and grinding sensation in your stomach. A quick or full dab of sliced fish in the chilli sauce is SHIOKINGLY Good
ServiceStall is manned by 2 ladies, one taking order while the other doing the preparation, therefore self service is required. Fast handed service and the one who is taking order looks cheerful.
Ambience
Famous for its money value and delicious food varieties, 505 Market & Food Centre is always packed even on weekdays unless it is closed for washing. Seatings are plenty, however the seats nearer to 128 Fish Porridge are always occupied.
Price
Pocket friendly pricing and fits in very well with most of what their competitors are offering.
Recommendation / Tips
For those who loves spiciness, dont ever skip the chilli portion.
