The FoodToday, I decided to have soup spoon for lunch because I want to have a light lunch and Soup spoon is just a perfect place. My set meal came with a soup, iced lemon tea, a bun at the side and a half sandwich. I love my soup a lot, as even though soup is usually not that filling but this made me full. Probably because there are many ingredients in the soup. The FoodOrdered the standard nasi lemak set, which consists of a chicken wing, fried fish, egg and vegetable. Not going to forget.. the chili too!!!! The FoodFor mixed veg rice today, I ordered different dishes to try. I had this fried chicken, fish and cabbages. Love the serving being served.. It was just right for me. Cabbage is always my favorite vegetable and this is not bad. I like the fact that the cabbages were served with a little gravy. It made the vegetable more flavourful. The FoodIt has been a long time since I last had this dish and I decided to have it at this muslim stall at Kopitiam today.. Not sure is it because I crave for it too long, but this was good! There are many ingredients in my bowl.. I love the vegetable and egg in it. So yummy. A pity that the serving of this bowl is a little small though. The FoodJacks place set lunch is always very affordable and this time I ordered steak that is served with baked potato and vegetable as the side dishes.. The steak was paired with mushroom sauce and I love it. I love to eat it with the chili sauce too. Baked potato as usual did not disappoint!!! The FoodDecided to order char siew slices and chicken drumstick with my rice today.. I love chicken!! The char siew slices were quite good. I love the red colour of the char siew served.. The chicken drumstick was quite a big one as well. Another good thing about this stall is that every chicken rice ordered will be served with a bowl of complimentary soup! The FoodEven though this is a chicken rice stall, I decided to try their vegetable as well. The vegetable served was quite oily.. Taste wise was okay, just that the chef should try to reduce the amount of oil used. Serving of the dishes were not bad. The roasted meat that day was really tender and the good thing about the meat was of course.. none other than.. the crispy skin on those meat slices!!!! HEHE SO GOOD. I love chicken skin!!!
