I feel that age is just a number and sometimes we just have to take the leap, be adventurous try; don’t stick to the same hairstyle, don’t stick to the same dish; try crème brulee instead of egg tarts and you will find life a lot more interesting. I love "digging" for interesting places to eat and hangout with friends. A meal is not completed unless dessert is served! =]

Truffle fries S$15.00 – I am a sucker for truffle fries and when they came in the form of paper wraps, I’M SOLD! I swear every table ordered at least one truffle fries for the whole of Au Chocolat was filled with the truffle scent. YUMMY!Pineapple Pleasure S$12.00 – very interesting, tangy and invigorating! This concoction is a mixture of white chocolate and pineapples!Banana Boost S$12.00 – Rich and creamy and I never knew white chocolate and banana blends in so nicely. Au Chocolat frozen hot chocolate S$12.00 – for all chocolate lovers!! Rich and creamy chocolate fudge topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings!Ultimate Benedict S$22.00 – hot and fluffy pancakes topped with sauteed spinach, tomatoes, crispy bacon, roasted ribeye steak, roasted chicken and 2 poached eggs. I love the generous red wine and dark chocolate infused hollandaise sauce. Sichuan’s chefs are legendary for their ability to combine a huge variety of tastes such as sweet, sour, bitter, hot, salty, aromatic, fragrant and numbing into exquisite compound flavours.I am excited to start my Sichuan food journey!Husband & Wife Beef Offal with Spicy Sauce – too spicy for me yet I couldn’t resist and had 2 slices of it. A must have for all beef lovers!Pig’s Ear Slices with Spicy Sauce – the name may sound a little unsavory but I can assure you there is nothing distasteful about it. Infact it is interestingly crunchy and jelly-like! Now I can officially tell everyone I know I’ve eaten Pig’s ear! hahaCamphor & Tea Smoked Duck – I am no fan of the duck cos of the aftertaste but this is so delicious! Isaac, the marketing manager, was explaining to us that it takes the chef 26 hours to smoke the duck thus the tenderness and nice flavoured tastePork Strips in Sweet Bean Sauce – another of my favourite for the night! Love the sweet pork strips for its really very tasty! You can wrap it on the bean skin and roll it up like a popiah and eat it!Ge Le Shan ‘La Zi’ Chicken – Yes, you can tell from the picture that this dish is really spicy. It doesn’t taste like chicken for its really crispy and if you don’t pick the right color, you might really end up eating the chilli instead of the chicken cube! haha…查看更多
