Tucked away near Keppel, South Side feels like one of those spots you stumble upon and instantly want to keep to yourself. I dropped by for brunch and the rosti caught me off guard in the best way. Crispy, golden, topped with creamy avo and a perfectly runny onsen egg. Everything about the space is easygoing, with sunlight pouring through the windows, soft chatter, and coffee that actually wakes you up without punching you in the face. Staff were lovely too, present but never pushy. It’s unpretentious, warm, and a little addictive. I’ve already made plans to return.…

I wandered into Wabi Sabi the other day without much of a plan — just needed a break and maybe a decent bite. What I found was better than expected. The place is tucked into Everton Park, quiet and a little hidden. It’s minimalist without trying too hard, and you sort of forget you’re in the middle of the city.I had the pork katsu sando.  Wow! It was thick, golden, and perfectly crisp, with bread so soft it made the whole thing melt in my mouth. Every bite felt like comfort in a bowl. Service was chill, no fuss, just warm smiles and space to breathe. Will definitely come back for more!…

I finally tried Bhoomi, and it honestly felt like a warm hug in food form. The claypot butter chicken was rich, smoky, and comforting—like something made with love. Their Awadhi dum biryani was another highlight—aromatic, not too heavy, and cooked to perfection in a sealed pot. I ended the meal with their sugar-free Bengali rasmalai, which was delicate, floral, and surprisingly satisfying without being too sweet. The space has a calm, earthy vibe, and the service was gentle and attentive. It’s the kind of place where you slow down and just enjoy each bite.…

I recently spent an evening at Sky Bar, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite rooftop haunts. The city skyline view from the poolside loungers was stunning—especially around sunset. The cocktail list felt fresh and creative, and their non-alcoholic blends were surprisingly refreshing too. I tried a crab salad and a few sharing dishes that paired well with drinks. The space is intimate, only about 20 indoor seats and extra lounge spots by the pool, but it felt just right.…

Had the black pepper crab and omg it was so tasty, the best black pepper crab I ever had. i also tried their homemade ngoh hiang which was surprisingly tastier than it looks. The service overall not bad, they were quite attentive to any requests I had and the food is not the cheapest but decent value for money…

the seaside vibe for this restaurant was amazing, as the restaurant have indoor and outdoor seating which was quite flexible. i went there with my kids for dinner and they all enjoyed their time there.  The service was not bad as they did not take very long to respond to me.…
