We just suddenly feel like eating something middle east after an exhibition, so the adventurous us brought our other frens to try out this Egyptian Restaurant @ Haji lane. We find the food was pretty good, but some frens can hardly accept the special spices. The price is not expensive but the portion is pretty small.Service was ok but the boss is very naggy & the ver bad thing is that he kept smoking non-stop besides us! It's a more cozy and still convenient alternative to Kbox & Partyworld, feel more private in a standalone building with less rooms per level, reno was quite interesting. However for it doesn't feel as high-class as its price suggests, the service was only "ok", therefore we think that it's quite overpriced. Long beach is always a good place to bring tourist to, pretty good standard of food all the time, wide variety of seafood & a good location (east coast) for a sea-side stroll aft meal~ Our visitors are quite pleased with it ;)However the service was a little slow as they are always under-staff, the place couldn't be kept very clean as they didn't have enough time to clean it thoroughly before next grp of customers sit down.…查看更多

Ever since our first visit, it has become our regular girls-talk High-tea venue!~ The setting is very relaxing & comfy with natural light by the window~ with jus a few tables, it's much more spacious than starbucks.They are always short of hands on Weekends, but staffs are frenly, then careless me dropped the cookie once I took the tray, the staff was gave me a new one with a smile. This is really cozy & nice for night gatherings when u dun fancy wine or beer~Ben & Jerry is always so happy-coloured, their ice-cream are too sweet for me though. It's surprising that they have this seemingly very unhealthy food at hospital?? Laksa & Lasi Lemak with fried chicken wings??The lasi lemak was not bad but the rice too dry, laksa was so-so. The sam sui chicken at soup restaurant is something that I have craving for every once in a while. The combination of cold chicken with lettuce & ginger sauce is just perfect match. I was still hungry after eating my bowl of so-so pai ku rice & notice my fren had half plate of delicious looking horfun left over, so I decided to clear it for her. With my intellectual brother in town, our outing became mind-engaging eating place like Mind Cafe.The games were definitely fun with great selection, but the drink... we tried all of them & all taste sucks! Everything here was not bad, but not very impressive. I love their ice-cream & mochi though, I don't mind sitting down just for a dessert ;) My fren quite like the udon, my salmon sashimi was just alright. I do love the reno here, it's really cozy & home-like, but the food at Vivo branch is disappointing to me. After queueing super long to just enter the place, we were greeted with the most oily rosti ever (which make me & another fren slight diarrhea afterwards). The pizza was just so-so. Perhaps the best thing was the Erdinger beer.Definitely not worth the wait... the branch at 313Somerset would be a better choice.…查看更多

This review was on our visit earlier this year, seems like it was much better then than now when i read other patrons' recent reviews~My bestie & I had a girls dinner @ Manpuku & specially chose a seat with lovely fake window & curtains. The thing we like abt Manpuku is that u can choose a seat under diff theme depending on mood.The salmon sashimi was very fresh & yummy, u can feel it from the picture. My fren loves the omu rice too & she top it up with a ume wine to match the atmosphere.( I went to Manpuku again recently & it's true that the standard seemed to have dropped, cos the salmon sashimi was much smaller & taste more like frozen food now...)…查看更多
