We don't usually eat buffet dinners in the hotels we stay. No particular reason for that just a habit I guess. This time we were bit tired and we like paella so we decided to give Carousel a spin...The buffer selections was great, something very every taste. sushi and sashimi department was not good, thought we did not expect it to be. Fresh oysters were very nice, salad and other starters were great apart sushi.We really liked the Spanish mains, especially soups But the other Moorish dishes were very taste and well prepared in the buffet. good location, nice service but...poor quality of food.We took one of set menus for dinner, having read previous reviews, we had expectations. Obviously, previous reviewers are either owners, workers or otherwise paid writers. I refuse to believe that they do not know what is good teppanyaki.Quality is less than normal food court teppanyaki in a random shopping center but pricey...actually very expensive for the quality.Salad: just some greensMeat: dry, tasteless, probably deep frozen.Fish, salmon: quite OK taste but could not save the dinnerPrawn: prawn was good but mayo sauce was revoltingRice: Fried garlic rice was tasteless and very dry, very dry.Miso was good, it requires more skills to make it bad.Yes...there was lots of garlic. So what? Should garlic be the only taste?Chef tried to impress other customers with some elementary tricks but failed rather embarrassing way.We will never go this place again.
