Going to Pizza Hut's all about the pizzas, right? Not this time! I decided to drop by Pizza Hut after a tiring paintball session with my friends. However, instead of ordering the usual pizza combos, we decided to try something different - the Fish & Chips. That....is usually something 'typical' to us Singaporeans, eh? I was in for a shock when I ate it.First things first - Presentation. I am amazed about how they had managed to make such a 'typical' dish look exciting and appetizing. The use of the square plate adds a fine twist to the 'typical' and the salad further complements the dish by adding colour to an otherwise boring palette. Next up - Quality. The quality of the food is good. Also, the fish and the fries is fried to a nice golden brown, a good indication that the chefs are using clean oil. The chefs are also skilled and I could not identify major flaws in the quality of the food. The fish had a slightly sweet after taste with no evidence of the 'fishy smell' you will find in fish that are not fresh. The fries are good as well, though several fries are a little too crispy for my liking. I found myself asking for more sauce as their serving was too little (I'll let this slide as the amount is to probably complement the presentation of the dish :) )But what about the restaurant itself? For decal, it is a very classic Pizza Hut-style theme to it. During the time that I went (about 3pm), there were not many people dining and it was a relatively relaxing experience.I am pleasantly taken aback by Pizza Hut's service. The staff there was very friendly to us and even joked with us about the meals even though we were a little of a nuisance! (My friend couldn't decide between eating pasta or pizzas, making a childish-yet-amusing fuss at the restaurant :) Further on, even though there were slight problems in our orders, they were patient and suggested to us other promotional meals that we would try. Our food was served promptly and the waiting time was acceptable, as well as food being served at their appropriate times (appetizers, entrées, dessert).My final verdict? Pizza Hut's Fish & Chips is a MUST TRY! Though the price may be a little steep, it is definitely worth a try and it will be totally worth the try.…查看更多
