Picture wise, it looks just like any other normal Japanese restaurants. When the food arrived, it then occurred to me that the serving is actually quite big. I ordered salmon and seafood okonomiyaki. The salmon was fresh and quite a lot, unlike some restaurants which will scrimp on the amount of fish. The vegetables that accompanied the fish was well seasoned too. Seafood okonomiyaki was filled with cuttlefish and some prawns, topped with an egg. I was already full halfway through the meal. Very delicious and definitely value for money. This promotion has been going on for some time now and I finally have the chance to give it a try. The promotion is to order a set meal, which consists of 2 items, and have a choice to order another item out of the 4 choices for only $1. Of course we'd order the third item for just $1. For the set meal, we chose the steamed fish and braised duck. The fish was very fresh and I liked the sauce very much. The duck was braised with yam. The duck meat was quite tough, but has absorbed the gravy nicely. For the $1 item, we chose the prawns with salted egg. The serving was obviously smaller, but for $1, it was still worth it. I would definitely come over here to buy their ang ku kueh whenever I pass by. The thick filling is wrapped with a thin layer of skin. You are able to bite the filling with every bite and not feel that you are merely eating the skin. My favorite would be the peanut ang ku kueh. The peanut filling is very fragrant and lingers in your mouth. The green bean filling is pretty good too. …查看更多

I was here on a weekday for lunch and the entire restaurant was pretty empty, only a few tables were taken. There was a promotion on the fish head curry and we undoubtedly ordered that. It was served on a portable stove to keep it boiling and warm. The fish was very fresh and has the full flavor of the curry. The fragrance of the curry kept me wanting for more. There was a short queue during dinner time, despite that it was a weekday. The queue took quite a while and we were starving by the time we got a table. I ordered the mushroom bacon linguine and a chocolate souffle. The pasta was nicely done, bacon taste was very strong and got a little overpowering towards the end. It was pretty salty too. This is my first time trying the chocolate souffle from Bakerzin. The souffle has risen up nicely. Very soft and fluffy and chocolatey. I have always been a big fan of Burger King's mushroom swiss burger. Their mushroom tendergrill is fabulous too, if not even better than the mushroom swiss. The chicken is tender and juicy, accompanied by the fresh mushroom. The mushroom sauce was generous and goes very well with the chicken. This is a nice place to hang out when the restaurant is not crowded, like in the late afternoon. I have been here a few times, but usually I'd order the mango pomelo sago. This time, I decided to order something else. I ordered the mango with glutinous rice balls and vanilla sauce. The vanilla sauce was actually vanilla ice, which I liked very much. This is my first time trying the nutella tart which my friend loves so much. At the counter, we could see trays of bottles of nutella. This tart is definitely a hit among customers. The tart has a strong nutella taste and is quite delicious and special. However, my friend who has tried it before says that the tart is not the same as before. Not as delicious too. The most important I see in a prawn noodle is the soup. It has to have the strong taste of the prawns. This stall's prawn noodle definitely has that done well. The prawns are big and fresh too. However, the troublesome part comes when you have to de-shell it. I ordered the noodles with pork ribs too. The pork ribs was not very flavorful as it did not absorb the taste of the prawns. We were very hungry for dinner and this place came to my mind right away. They are very generous with their portion and their food is delicious too. I ordered the crispy chicken with cheese, which comes with a corn salad and potatoes. I have liked this dish very much. The cheese was thick and melted nicely on the chicken. Chicken was tender and flavorful. What was surprisingly delicious was the corn. Apart from the usual buttery taste, it had all the flavors of sweet and sourness. It was simply wonderful. I bought this black pepper mcgrill some time back. I have tried the original mcgrill, which I like very much, and the spicy mcgrill, which was way too spicy for me. I was hoping that the black pepper mcgrill would be delicious as well. It certainly did not disappoint me. The black pepper taste was intense and very peppery, not too spicy. It was my first time dining in at Bakerzin. The restaurant was very crowded while I was here during a weekend for lunch. The restaurant is not very spacious. We waited for quite a while before one of the waitress came to us to tell us that there is a table ready for us. I ordered the set meal, which comes with a main course, soup, salad, dessert and drink. The soup of the day was tomato soup, which I did not like it very much. The dessert was the best of all. I can never get enough of Swensen's ice cream. There are just so many choices and each tastes so fabulously good. This outlet is located at a corner of Ion Orchard. We were here on a weekday for lunch, and there was not much of a crowd. Only a few tables were filled with working adults. Other than the ala carte menu, this outlet has ice cream buffet too. I was recommended to this buffet place by my friend, who came here several times now. We came on a weekday dinner and the place was still quite empty. There is a wide variety of meat choices to choose from, and some other veg which I was not too interested in. Pork slices, pork chops, ribs, chicken, beef slices, bacon, sausages, and the list goes on. The sauce was good and makes the meat feels less oily. Service was quick and good. The best way to start the day is to have a scrumptious breakfast. I was looking forward to trying Burger King's breakfast. I bought the platter, which consists of the croissant burger, a tiny piece of tomato, egg omelette, sausage and hashbrown. I feel kind of cheated when the food arrived, but the taste was the saving grace. The egg omelette was filled with cheese and bacon, though it looks ordinary. The sausage was normal and you can't go wrong with sausages. The croissant burger was soft and fluffy and buttery. Though delicious, I still find it quite expensive for its price. …查看更多
