I had a green tea flavoured one and my grandma had a milk tea flavoured one. The taste of the green tea although it was not the strong bitter kind, but it was not overwhelmingly sweet as well. I felt the texture was nice,a little chewy and gave me something to hold on to. The milk tea flavour was nice as well! Chewy and the milk tea felt really fresh! As you can see my grams enjoys it as well. The staff was friendly, nice music was playing and plus river view, what more can I ask for!

Attractive and colourful dessert displayed in the transparent fridge, I had a craving for it. I tried the taste of some ice-creams before ordering, the staff dig a little bit in small spoon for me.It would be better if they provided chairs and desks for their customers. Back to Ice-cream, it was silky smoothie. Soft and melt very fast once I put it into my mouth, it tasted a bit bitter and winey scent. Rum and Raisin will always my favourite choice. Single Scoop, $4.30 for mine, with cone or you may opt for $3.80 in cup.

I'm back to visit my favourite Azabu Sabo Hokkaido Ice Cream! In my opinion, it beats all other ice-cream brands (as yet), and therefore I think I'd visit Azabu everytime I'm at Clarke Quay *grins*.A very Japanese-looking storefront, usually with an average of 2-3 employees. The flavours change everyday, and I was quite disappointed that there was no 'Milk' flavour this time round.

Double Cup - Lychee (Left) and Vanilla (Right), $5.80
The Lychee was sweet tasting, almost as if I was like drinking the juice of the lychee itself. I love original flavours such as Vanilla! It was a pure and smooth texture, soothing to the tongue.

A close-up shot of the ice-cream.
Both Lychee and Vanilla are almost the same colour, so it was difficult to tell them apart unless you dig in and taste them!

Double Cup - Yuzu and Milk Tea (right), $5.80
This is for the tastebuds which crave a cauldron of sourness and bitterness. Oh, I forgot to add, a little dash of sweetness as well. Yuzu is really so sour that I crunch up my nose and felt my cheeks caving in, but my FRIEND is so in love with it. I loved the milk tea flavour though, really tasted like teh tarik. I wonder if having teh tarik ice-cream Roti Prata would taste nice?

I will come again, really. You can try the different flavours by asking the servers there, they're really nice and patient people
Sadly, there isn't any place to sit except by the river, which was full of cigarette-smoking people.

Does my friend's Double Chocolate sound very sweet too? Don't worry, it's also very light and not too sweet, unlike other double chocolate-flavoured ice cream in the country.

If you have the chance, try all their flavours!

Managed to grab this ice cream for dessert before they closes. Azabu Sabo has been around The Central, Clarke Quay ever since The Central open it's door I think. Haven't tried this before so I decided to have one. The double flavor ice cream sounds good, so I ordered a chocolate with lychee flavor ice cream. I thought it will be diluted but no, the ice cream is creamy and a little fluffly (to me) It is so rich that I nearly couldn't finish it but... not to waste good food especially ice cream, I

Do you always pass by this Hokkaido Ice Cream shops and yet never seem to stop by to try it? That's how I always feel - until my friend recommended and said that the ice-cream here is really good! $5.30 for a cup of 2 flavours. A little expensive but for the good quality... even a miser like me thinks it's worth it.

My first choice has to be the Sea Salt Caramel ever since it first came out on the menu. There is a distinct caramel flavour, with just a very slight tinge of saltiness to give it a kick. Not too sweet, yet unique.

Prices:
$3.80 for a single cup
$4.30 for a single cone

$5.30 for a double cup
$5.80 for a double cone

Mrupupup had the Azabu Sabo Hokkaido Ice Cream at Central Mall in Clarke Quay area. Azabu Sabo Ice Cream is very nice and unique japanese ice cream taste. The great thing is Azabo Sabo has their own japanese ice cream specialist to make the ice cream. Mrupupup loved the rich, creamy milk taste and loved that the Hokkaido ice cream comes in a cone biscuit. Attached photo of the green tea with red bean ice cream.

It is always great to walk by the river with my favourite ice-cream in hand. Azabu Sabo Hokkaido ice-cream has quite a few yummy flavours, such as green tea, black sesame etc! Single scoop on cone only costs $4.3, and if you have it in cup, it's only $3.8. I had the durian flavour this time, and fully indulge in the strong aroma! I like how they shape the ice-cream in the cone too! Very cool hey!

The Hokkaido ice cream has a unique presentation than any other ice cream store. It is long and tall, a shape of a pyramid and the top of the cone is a square shape. the most famous is their mocha flavor. It is not very sweet, just right for those who doesnt have a strong sweet tooth.

Ardent fans of matcha will enjoy the strong green tea flavor of the ice-cream. I should have ordered it in a cup though, if that option's available- I've never really liked wafer cones as they're pretty much tasteless anyway- and the cone I got here was a tad stiff. Much prefer crisp, thin waffle cones!
