I love the juice which I think is healthier and taste great with the friendly and touching service. Overall, the environment is crowed but considered clean for market with good food. Price is recommendable for nice food.

My mother suggested we head to Chinatown for lunch so we packed into the car and drove over. Chinatown had a lot of delicious food yet to be discovered, one of which is this laksa stall. This stall at Hong Lim Food Centre named Famous Sungei Road Trishaw Laksa sells both laksa and mee siam with prawns. Somewhat similar to the famous Katong laksa, the flavorful gravy, though more diluted in consistency, is filled with the delightful fragrance of coconut milk and sweetness of dried shrimps. Definitely worthwhile for its price, a bowl of laksa which costs only $3, is topped with generous servings of sliced prawns and fresh cockles.

If you are a fan of Katong laksa, do not miss Sungei Road Trishaw Laksa that is not only more delicious but also more value for money.

Although its signature dish is the trishaw laksa, they are also selling mee siam & mee rubus. All the pictures look so tempting displayed on the stall and i finally make up my mind and order mee siam. The mee siam was served with nicely sliced egg with generous toppings of tiny dried shrimps. I absolutely love the gravy as its tasted sour enough for me & does not have the strong coconut taste which I find repulsive in most mee siam. More importantly, there is no trace of oil and hence makes it
