My friend and I decided to head for dinner at Eunos after a tired day out. Seeing a stall with the signage – Kim’s Famous Fried Hokkien Noodles, we decided to try out its fried hokkien mee ($5).The hokkien mee has fried pork lard which is not commonly seen and it definitely adds a nice texture to the noodles. Overall I had say the hokkien mee is nice but not the best in Singapore. The portion is also a little bit small for a guy.We also ordered a tzi char dish, broccoli with prawns ($16). The ma

We also ordered a tzi char dish, broccoli with prawns ($16). The main selling points of the dish is the sauce and the prawns. The prawns were very fresh but my only grouse that it’s kind of expensive to be paying $16 for a prawn tzi char dish.

My overall impression is that the food is nice, just a tad too overpriced. Still a good place to drop by if you are in the vicinity.

The stall has been operated more than a decade selling the famous fried Hockkien prawn mee. The smell is so nice that when the plate of the food place under my nose in front of me and squeezing in the lime juice is even more fragrant as before. The big prawns are spreading on top of the noodles which are very savory and chewy. It is fantastic good taste and delicious.

The price is $5.00/8.00/15.00 depends on the size you order.

My friend and I decided to have the original Kim's fried Hokkien prawn mee because he told that this is popular among locals and tourists. Although it is non-airconditioned, we can still feel the wind. The stall has included alfresco, so all customers need not worry about the rain. Conclusion: Taste good hokkien fried noodles in Singapore. Make sure to have their Herbal Tea and their delicious fried hokkien prawn mee during your visit.
