I like korean style of bibimbap because they are healthy as there's different vegetables together with beef and also egg! And when they are all mix together with the rice on the sizzling hot stone bowl is really tempted to eat them!(:It comes with a bowl of soup and small dishes of ikan and kimchi ..I like when it is still hot after a few mouth because of the good quality stone bowl i guess! And it tasted real good too! (: continue reading

There are so many eateries around Bugis junction, the choices are wide. This time I decided to try at foodcourt, browsed around all stalls there. Finally I settled with Korean bibimbap, hope they were using real stone bowl instead of melamine bowl. I insisted on stone bowl as that was the fragrance from, just like claypot dishes.Yeah, it was using stone bowl. It was sizzling hot when served. The set of rice came with seaweed soup, 2 side dishes and a sauce. The sauce was a bit too spicy to my taste but it was fine. When I tossed all ingredients, the bottom of the bowl has formed a layer of burnt rice, very similar to claypot rice. I wasn’t in a hurry so I ate it slowly. The stone bowl was well heated up, it maintained warm till my last mouthful of rice. Here came to the burnt rice, scraped it out, dry but tasty, I managed to scrape all bits out as it was fun to finish off the meal. Quite happy with my choice that day. continue reading

I ordered this Chicken Hotstone Babimbab from Bugis Food Junction. There's tao gay, carrots, cucumber, seaweed and chicken with rice. Side dish would be kimchi, ikan bilis and sauce for your babimbab. You can ask for more kimchi instead of ikan bilis. No extra charge The sauce is kinda spicy, sweet and salty. Not bad.. I love their kimchi to bits. Very refreshing though a little spicy! Price is a lttle steep. Overall soso! continue reading
