There are so many eateries around Bugis junction, the choices are wide. This time I decided to try at foodcourt, browsed around all stalls there. Yeah, it was using stone bowl. It was sizzling hot when served. The set of rice came with seaweed soup, 2 side dishes and a sauce. The sauce was a bit too spicy to my taste but it was fine. When I tossed all ingredients, the bottom of the bowl has formed a layer of burnt rice, very similar to claypot rice. I wasn’t in a hurry so I ate it slowly. The stone bowl was well heated up, it maintained warm till my last mouthful of rice. Here came to the burnt rice, scraped it out, dry but tasty, I managed to scrape all bits out as it was fun to finish off the meal. Quite happy with my choice that day.
