Lao ban beancurd has been really famous with their beancurd. The queue are always very long and be ready to queue for some time before getting your tau huay. Usually we will buy more bowls since we queue for so long. It can be kept in your house fridge so not a problem. The tau huay is smooth, sweetness level is just right, and it slides through your throat smoothly.

I have learnt to savour every bowl of lao ban tau huey. It has a great smooth texture that you can slurp through your teeth. It is very fragrant and rich in soy flavour. Their texture is one of the best you can find in Singapore. But prepared to wait for some time before you get your bowl of tau huey because the queues at their outlets are always really longgg!

Yesterday, my clasmetes and i feel like not hungry but wanna eat something. As we walked by the Lao Ban Beancurd, saw there was a long queue. Out of curiosity, we also went to queue. The queue move at very fast speed. We brought 2 original flavour and 2 almond flavor. The texture of the beancurd are very smooth and tasted nice too. Will definitely revisit again.

I find it hard to describe Lao Ban Beancurd. It does taste like beancurd, sweet and with rich flavour of soy bean. However, texture wise, it is 'tougher' than normal beancurd. To certain extend, it resembles pudding texture. You can simply name it the best beancurd in Singapore, and I guess countless people will agree on that without hesitation.

Queue for the highly raved lao ban beancurd yesterday, there was already a long queue when i arrived at 6 plus but the queue moves fast so you do not have to wait too long. I bought 10 at one go which is the original flavour as the almond flavour was already sold out by then and i really love it. It is so smooth and awesome. Do check out whether their store is open first before heading down as they tend to close their stall on some days.

I love the pudding-like beancurd at lao ban! Tried the original one a few days ago and i came back for the almond flavoured one. Personally, i prefer the original one as it bring out the fragrance of soy bean. The almond flavour is too overwhelming that it stole the limelight of the soy bean. Of course, the taste is good too but i would cast my vote for the original one.

personally i quite like to eat bean curd but nowadays i find it harder to find nice bean curd till i know about lao ban. i first tried it in school when the students were selling them for charity purposes. the bean curd was really smooth that it really melts in your mouth. normally i do not like almond flavour dessert but this time i tried the almond flavour and i think it was also a nice choice
