Being located right at the entrance of Causeway Point, this McDonald's branch is always very crowded. This was the case again when I went and there was quite a queue and a lack of seats so I decided to takeaway instead.

I got the Ebi Burger Feast Set ($7.75) which came with:
- Ebi Burger
- Banana Pie
- Large Fries, and
- Tropical Tango McFizz.

I also got the BubbleGum Flavourburst Ice Cream ($1.00).

As this was a takeaway, I had to start on the dessert first. The Bubblegum Ice Cream was basically vanilla ice cream with 'a burst of bubblegum taste', so they said. This bubblegum ice cream was simply a delight on first bite! The ice-cream was very smooth and milky and there was a "bubblegum" taste which turned out to be much better than I had originally expected. It can get a tad overly sweet after a few bites though, but the sweetness was later balanced out by the cone. I couldn't get enough of the ice cream! Somehow, eating it reminded me of cotton candy!

It took quite some time before I got to start on the burger. But despite it being nearly 40 minutes later after I reached home, the patty was still quite crispy on the outside and the shrimps were still firm! I cut out a small slice of the burger and counted about 3 small shrimps in that small slice alone. The mix of thousand island sauce and mustard was a nice change too, but I thought there was too little of it for the whole burger, which was a tad bland. Overall, a decent burger that could do with more sauce for added flavour!

If you ask me though, I think Banana Pie was the real limelight stealer. The banana pie was soooo nice that I'm really lovin' it! It was very crisp and crunchy on the outside and the filling was very soft. It was also pretty sweet with a strong banana taste. It was like eating banana fritters or goreng pisang. Even my parents who tried it loved it and my dad even said that it was better than the apple pie! How I wish McDonald's would add this pie to their permanent menu!

As for the Tropical Tango McFizz, it was quite sweet, fruity and frizzy, like drinking soda. There was a slight detectable mango taste although I thought that the flavour wasn't as strong as I had expected.

The fries though, were already cold and somewhat soggy, and we all know McDonald's fries are best eaten hot. It was also pretty salty.

Overall, the Ebi Burger Feast was a pretty decent offering and definitely much better than some of their earlier offerings like the McAloo Tikki. At first glance, the price may seem to be a little expensive for a McDonald's set meal but for four items (and $1 for the ice cream), it is actually quite value for money considering that it also came with a pie and large fries. You can consider getting the usual set meal that costs $6.70 without the pie, but as it is, I'd recommend getting the set with the banana pie, or just get the banana pie alone if you just want a snack. This banana pie is definitely a must try, especially considering that it is available for a limited time only!

McDonald's has introduced a new drink, the lychee mcfizz. Essentially it is like seven up with lychee flavoring. The drink Is carbonated which is where the word fizz comes from. The lychee flavour is quite evident and complements the fizzy base pretty well, overall the fruity taste with the carbonated base drink comes together quite nicely. Quite in interesting Change from regular drinks. However it's quite expensive like many of McDonalds soft drinks.

For the burger wise, like I said, the bread is chewy and the patty is quite tasty too.
But I think the chicken patty suits those normal hamburger bun more, and the mcmuffin kind of bread is more for its egg mcmuffin.

mc donald's vanilla cone is my comfort food. The cone is the soft serve ice cream type meaning its really airy and light. Despite being low fat, the ice cream is creamy and rich, and leaves a really silky mouthfeel. The vanilla taste is evident without being too overpowering. The creamy smooth cold ice cream really complements the crunchy cone that it is served with.

Look at the yummy burger, now I just know why so many teenagers like McDonald so much. Crispy and crunchy french fries, I like the juicy chicken and soft bun wih sesame on the top.

I always prefer to eat my items individually and not all layer up like a burger style. their scrambled eggs are very nice too and not salty at all cause they provide the salt and you get to add your desired amount which i usually don't add at all. i like it just plain with a dash of pepper. the hashbrown that day was a little soggy or maybe its due to my late eating it. Anyway its still nice just a bit oily and cold. The meat patty's best! I think its beef with pepper and some spices that you can taste when you bite into it and i used to spread butter on it! Now i don't for the sake of heathiness
But it still taste as nice

The fries were left there for quite some time, so they werent those piping hot kind. There was too much salt for the normal fries though, and although the twister fries had no visible salt on top, it was pretty much as salty as the normal one. Taste wise, the normal fries was nicer than the twister fries, the twister fries had a cheesy like taste that I didnt really enjoy (even though I love cheese).

My Mcspicy was very hot though, burned my tongue when I was eating it. It was very spicy, but juicy at the same time.

Overall it was a full dinner for me, will try their new burgers they just came up with the next time I patronize.

McDonald's introduced this new beverage not too long ago. The frappe is available in both chocolate and strawberry.I decided to go with my all time favorite - chocolate. The chilled frappe had macaroon bits in the beverage which gave it a lasting impression. I liked the combination of macaroons in chocolate, as it tasted like a milkshake It was topped off with whipped cream that evened out the sweetness.

The Filet-O-Fish was not that warm anymore when he reached home. Since he bought 2, there were 2 Filet-O-Fish burgers free too. Just nice, as my 2 cousins were staying my hse, each of us had a burger each. The bun was soft, and the filet in between the 2 buns were still hot. One bite and you can feel the juiciness of the fish in your mouth, some even dripped on the table that I had to clean it away. The inside was moist too, and not dry. Cheese was abit of a letdown, though it was alwys like that, only half a piece in each burger.

Overall, although it was takeaway, the taste is still there though there wasnt any aroma left of it. Still the best burger I love that Mcdonald's have!

The hotcakes are soft and fluffy and go very well with loads of maple syrup and butter. This set meal also includes a chicken sausage patty, hotcakes and a drink. The chicken sausage was well-browned and rather tasty. The hash brown was crispy but soaked in oil. It's rather pricey for a breakfast set but worth it as an occasional meal.

As it was quite crowded within Mcdonalds, I decided to order a takeaway instead of dining in. I had to queue for around 10minutes before I was served, but luckily my order was prepared very quickly. I got myself the McSpicy meal. What I love about McSpicy is that the spice level is really there for us who love our chilli. Moreover, chicken thigh, which is the most tender of the chicken, is used. I also like McDonalds fries with their garlic chilli sauce. It is a pity they do not have mayo now tho

The eggs were nice, though abit bland, so added some pepper on it for taste. I put the sausage ham in the 2 pieces of bread provided with the big breakfast, tasted just like sausage mcmuffin. The hash brown was my favourite, it retains it crunchiness even though it was cooked after quite some time alrdy. Have tried to fry hashbrowns at home myself but they alwys turn out soggy after leaving for a while.

The hotcakes were soft, and just tasted really nice. Had tried a pancake recipe once, but it still didnt taste as the one from Macs.

Overall, enjoyed our breakfast.
