carrot cakes are really good when done properly and when served piping hot. Love the chai poh(picked raddish) that is found in abundance inside the carrot cake and the chilli that the carrot cake is being served with is really fragrant and delicious. Love that the egg used here is also enough and that each piece of carrot cake is covered in the egg. Delicious eat!

This white version carrot cake is really those very soft and smooth type. Lots of beaten eggs are used in this dish which ensure all pieces of carrot cakes are coated with generous amount of beaten eggs on it. The chilli paste is quite spicy so do not take it if you are afraid of too spicy food. Topped with generous amount of chopped spring onions which make the carrot cakes really fragrant and tasty. However I should say the portion is not really generous although the price is not too high. Lon

Love to eat the fried dark carrot cake from this stall as the dark soya sauce used in the carrot cake is very generous and the fragrant from it is really nice and delicious. The carrot cake texture is very smooth and soft and with some shredded carrot in it. The beaten egg used in this local delight is also very generous which make this dish very tasty and looks appearing too. Price is reasonable and I will definitely back here to grab more of it.

I was surprised to find this carrot cake stall selling popiah. I decided to order two since it looked very nice from the signboard. The popiah is quite fat and is bursting with the ingredients. I like that the popiah is very tightly wrapped - I could pick it up with my chopsticks without any of the ingredients dropping out of the popiah. The mang guang given was very substantial and is well flavoured which is what I like. I would think that this stall's popiah is even better than those stalls th

Definitely worth buying.

Another good find of fried carrot cake from the ever famous old changi airport road food centre. This is the traditional style/ singaporean style of fried carrot cake unlike the Hong Kong style fried carrot cake. I still prefer this type of fried carrot cake compared to Hong Kong style. There are two types of fried carrot cake- either fried it with black sauce or no black thick sauce. I've ordered the white version without black sauce. Saltness level is just nice for me and it's not oily. Good "wok hei" makes the carrot cake and eggs more fragrant too.

they do sell popiah too! but i have yet to try that out. Will try next time!

Do expect a long queue for this stall as well.
