Again it was quite a long wait here in this coffeeshop for my all-time favourite Western food. Eventhough I need not stand infront of the stall to wait for my food, still you will need the patient if you want to taste the food here.  Service was alright but is still as slow as usual, probably needs the time to cook really nice food for us.  Fried rice was abit too dry and tasteless, infact the grain was quite hard.  Chicken cutlet is crispy and chicken meat was juicy and fresh. Great business here from this westrrn food stall and fortunately only waited around 20 minutes before food is served to my table.  Fish meat is soft and fresh with no stingy smell. The outer crust is very crispy and not too oily.  Enjoy the coleslaw which is fresh and crunchy.  For $7 is quite reasonable.  The stall helpers are alright and dining area is clean as well.

The waiting could be quite long during dinner peak hours.I waited for about 20 minutes for my order of fish and chips spaghetti to come. The fish and chips was nicely battered, well fried and crispy and quite a big piece. There is a piece of lemon that comes along with it for you to drizzle on the fish itself to enhance the taste.I loves the spaghetti it is lightly salted and the tomato sauce tasted natural and yummy.

Luckily, the taste is still good. The chicken is hot and and juicy. The skin is crispy at the edge and sweet on the surface. I really love that. I hope the portion returns to normal the next time I go to this stall as it's one of my favourite places to eat at during secondary school days!

I like Rasa Sayang Fish & Chips's coleslaw the most it is crunchy and excellent! It opens up your appetite. Fish was kind of dry, you have to squeeze the lemon onto the fish. As for the tar tar sauce it is the watery type. Fries are not salty enough for me. Garlic bread was burned on the sides but it is still acceptable. Overall, it is still a huge portion of food served.

This western food stall had been around since my poly days which was 13 years ago (I think they started their business even earlier than that). From then till now, it still attracts long queues even on weekdays. Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce - Huge juicy chicken fillet which was pan fried till a bit crispy on the outside, but the inside was still very tender. The mushroom sauce not just add to the flavor but also help to make the chicken chop not that dry.

Recommended by Girlfriend Peiyi, we were there on a certain weekday, a little later than 7pm and the seats were over-occupied already. Therefore, please do expect long waiting times if you come during peak hours on weekends.

One of their bestsellers, Chicken Chop w/ Black Pepper Sauce (S$5.60) is also a favourite of mine. More often or not, chicken chops topped with either black pepper sauce or mushroom sauce are my choices when I visited Rasa Sayang (although the latter is my favourite.) Marinated, succulent chicken steaks paired with fries, baked beans, coleslaw and garlic bread.

Another speciality of theirs, Fish & Chips (S$5.00) which is Peiyi's favourite, was nicely crisp with a nice golden colour on the exterior, yet soft and juicy inside. This dish is served with the same sides as above.

Although slightly pricier than the usual hawker fare, Rasa Sayang is well worth it as it serves not only quality, but also of good quantity as well.

Before Botak Jones, Rasa Sayang Western food in S11 Ang Mo Kio is known to have one of the bigger portions of western food in Singapore. While the price is a tad more expensive than the average western food stall in Singapore, Rasa Sayang makes up for it with quantity in their portion of meat. While the price is a tad more expensive than the average western food stall in Singapore, Rasa Sayang makes up for it with quantity in their portion of meat. A single portion of chicken chop goes for $5.80. This includes coleslaw, fries and baked beans.

Despite the large quantity, I find that the quality is just slightly better than average. Rasa Sayang is most famous among students for their humongous chicken cutlet, spanning nearly 1/3 the area of their plate.

Personally, I feel that at their price point, it is comparable to that of the western food found in air-conditioned food courts in Singapore but with much more quantity. I recommend this stall to hungry fans of western food looking for large portions.

It has been at least 2 years since I stepped into the S11 again. With this visit, I knew I had to try the western food. It was good to know that the stall still exists. There was a short queue; customers waiting to order.

Once you have ordered, (remember to take note of your table number) you can go back to your seat and order a drink while waiting for the food to arrive.

Despite the many orders in front of me, I got my food within 15 minutes, which was fast! I thought that I would need to wait for at least half an hour.

The Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce was served with Garlic Bread, Fries, Baked Beans and Coleslaw. A big, thick, juicy chunk of chicken chop was given. I do vaguely remember the chicken chop given was much bigger last time. But well, I can't complain much as this was still bigger than those served elsewhere at other western stalls. The chicken chop was well-marinated and grilled. I thought that the black pepper sauce was just nice. Not too salty and not overly pepperish.

As for the fries and baked beans, they were normal. The coleslaw deserve a mention, it was fresh and crunchy. Moreover, there was no artificial taste to it. *thumbs up*

Not mind blowing, just an average Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce. The ingredients given were fresh and generous. It used to be better (in taste and portion) last time. Nevertheless, this is still value for money!

I still come back to have fried chicken cutlet at this western food stall regularly. The chicken meat was marinated with different sauces to infuse the flavors into the chicken. It was then fried to perfection to give it a nice crispiness. It served with garlic bread, baked beans, french fries and coleslaw. Everything tasted quite fresh. The waiting time can be long if you come during dinner or weekends.

This stall has been around for the longest time and i have typically grown up eating the western foods from this stall. After these years, there is a slight drop in the standard and the prices raised. I am still coming here as and when to have their chicken cutlet set. The chicken meat was seasoned with soya sauce then fried it well to give it the crispy texture. Such a set consists of a piece of garlic bread, coleslaw, baked beans and french fries. The portion is quite filling.

The safest choice has always been fried chicken cutlet. A reasonably sized fried chicken cutlet served along with a piece of garlic bread, coleslaw, baked beans and french fries. It used to be much cheaper but now it is at $6.00 per set.

The fried chicken cutlet has gotten a strong soya taste this time and it turned my appetite off somewhat.

I would rather stay away from this stall as there are better western food stalls around.
