After having finished my porridge, I ordered a bowl of beancurd. I wanted to take away but take-away costs 30cents more. $1.10 for take away & 0.80cents for having there.They have original,chocolate & sweet corn bean curd. Their bean curd was quite smooth,tasted normal, price consider cheaper than others. I requested for cold one but they only have warm ones. Waiting time was fast, as there's not much queue,less than 5mins.

we ordered a glass of soya bean milk and grass jelly each. the drinks here are really very cheap. The soya milk was so smooth and refreshing, it was sweeten perfectly. For some soya milk, they did not filter it properly and you can taste the bottom of the glass as very powdery but this was not the case for this stall’s. their grass jelly drink is also another killer, after an oily meal, this grass jelly is best to wash away all the oil. I usually order soya bean drink from this stall whenever i come here to eat fried carrot cake. The uncle recognised me and always smiled when i ordered. They have the big glass and small cup and i will order depend on the weather. I will go for a bigger glass if the weather is too hot. The sweetness is always just nice and quite thick.

The Toa Payoh West Market & Food Centre has many famous food like the paus, carrot cake and hokkien prawn noodles. After eating all these nice food, i will normally order a cup of soya milk drink from Teck Hwa stall. The soya taste is very strong and the drink is not too sweet. If you like a dessert, you can also try their soya bean curd which is also nice.

I was there rather early for breakfast and so what they offered then was only the grass jelly drink and soya bean drink. I opted for the smaller cup of Soya Bean drink for 0.80 cents. A larger cup is available at $1.00.I thanked the nice Uncle when i was paying him after he handed the drink to me. He replied, 'You're welcome!' in chinese. The sweetness was just right with a nice thick soya bean taste. I enjoyed it pretty much.

Standing in front of this stall brings back memories of the 1970s where the drinks like pineapple,longan,soya beans etc.. are made and served in plastic containers and the stall holder use a long scoop to scoop the drinks into glasses or plastic bags.And yes this stall sells 6 different types of homemade drinks which are stored in the plastic containers.They sell soya bean drinks,glass jelly,pineapple,longan,waterchestnut and lime.The pineapple drinks and lime juice are really tasted like 30 yea
