Friday night with the bffs for some girl-talks after dinner at Skinny Pizza. Always spoil for drink choices, so the girls are sticking to their regular drink - Sunrise & Pure Double Chocolate (without whippie cream) Ice Blend, while I decided to try the new Peach Tea ice Blend. Coffee bean sells a variety of cakes besides their signature teas and coffees. I tried the Red Velvet Cake which was a really large portion for the price. The cake was super duper moist and even possible too wet! It was almost drenched. The frosting had a nice cheesy flavour but I felt that it was a little too sweet. Overall still good value for the price considering the large portion!

The Spaghetti that I have tried in coffee bean have black pepper sauce on it. It covers with chickens meat and onions on top of the spaghetti.There are one pieces of bread to go with the spaghetti. The noddles is so smooth and tender (Q feeling) where I can simply slip into my mouth and my mouth blast out because the pepper is hot but very tasty. Ordered a Blueberry Cheesecake as well as a Raspberry Cheesecake. The one that I have tried is the Blueberry Cheesecake which is on the left of the photo. The blueberry cream on top of the cheesecake is just of suitable sweetness, neither it is too thick nor too thin. Also, the blueberry cream and the cheesecake are of good combination as they are easy to swallow and will melt in my mouth, neither flavour affects the whole taste of the cake.

Usually, I'll get my iced mocha from either St Marc's, McCafe or Starbucks... so I guess each of the coffee places really have their own brand of mocha. For Coffee Bean, their rendition of mocha is a flatter, more cocoa, and less chocolate version than McCafe's or Starbucks, and in fact closer to what St Marc's has. It is definitely more bitter than its counterparts but nevertheless still enjoyable since I like the bitterness in coffees.

Coffeee bean is a great place to hang out and chill. this place does not only provide coffee and tea but also a range of food such as tarts and sandwiches. This fine looking blueberry tart is really delicious and fresh! Love the custard cream and the fresh blueberries at the top of the tart. Not forgetting the finely roasted pistachio nuts on top that adds a crunch to the tart.

Came here for breakfast on a saturday morning. Ordered the pancakes which came with maple syrup and butter. The pancakes were light and fluffy and really good! They were tasty and had the right texture, not being too dense. Served with maple syrup and quality butter, this made for a really delicious breakfast. Coffee bean is definitely a good choice for breakfast on a weekend with family or with friends!
