The nus arts yong tau foo stall always has a super long queue during lunch and dinner time. The choices available all look really fresh and enticing! However, there was not much variety as I would have liked.
The service is very organised and efficient.
The laksa is quite good but the amount of laksa soup they gave was quite little.
Overall, this is a healthy option and is worth the cheap price!

Yong Tau Foo at the Deck has always been the coveted stall everyone rushes to when the queue is relatively short (think: average at least 15 persons in front of you = the norm!!) They offer normal soup/laksa gravy (haven't gotten round to try this yet but its worth a shot) Prices are at 30c per pent, 40c for noodles and min 6 piece (min 8 piece for soup only!). Laksa gravy is additional 40c.One thing to know about this YTF: the soup is really sweet! It has a more sweet flavour than a savoury one

One thing to know about this YTF: the soup is really sweet! It has a more sweet flavour than a savoury one. The choices for the ytf pieces are diverse so no complaints there. They also offer several kinds of noodles - kway teow, yellow mee, bee hoon etc. I like kway teow but this one seems abit flourry/rough (not really smooth:/) Eaten with the sweet sauce it resembles chee cheong fun!!

Ps The chilli isnt too spicy so if you want a (slight) kick to your ytf this one's perfectly safe.

For ridiculously cheap and extremely good yong tau fu, one only needs to look at this yong tau fu at NUS' The Deck canteen. There is a wide variety of yong tau fu to choose from and for $1.50 you get 6 pieces. Add $0.30 to this and you can have it with noodles. Another $0.30 for the laksa gravy which is fantastic. The laksa gravy is fragrant and heavenly. I got the soup version as I was feeling healthy that day. The soup is delicious as well and you can taste the beans that they use. The downsid

The downside is that you may have to wait up to 15 mins to get your food during lunchtime. There are 2 queues, one in which you wait to choose your food and the other where you wait to collect your food. There can be up to 20 people in one line at a time so that is testament to the great food that this stall serves up. I highly recommend this the next time anyone happens to be in NUS.

The Deck's Yong Tau Fu stall serves the best laksa in the canteen! More often than not, the queue can get insanely long especially during the lunch hours. Be sure to go very early, i.e. before 1130am or after 230pm or you'll have to wait in line for at least 15minutes. That said, the reason why people still queue up is because the food is really good. This bowl of laksa only cost me $2.40, with 7 ingredients and extra noodle! I like that the laksa sauce is pretty authentic and the chilli pack

i wont say this yong tau foo store sell good stuff but i guess is the healthier choice in school so there is always a long queue during lunch time. the variety of dishes to choose from is actually quite limited so i will always select the same few dishes. the good thing is that the staff are normally quite generous with the noodle portion so is quite filling

i have to vote the yong tau foo in arts canteen is definitely the best i eaten so far. there are a lot of variety of tofu dishes to choose from so there is always something that you will want to eat. they are famous for their laksa gravy and i think is really nice. sometimes i will go for just normal bee hoon soup and the soup taste nice too

As an NUS student, this stall is usually the one I go to for my yong tau foo fix. There is a large variety of yong tau foo to choose from here and it's cheap! It only costs about $1.80 for 6 pieces of yong tau foo with noodles and clear soup. I have noticed the portions are shrinking over time, but it's still value for money. Another must have from this stall is their laksa gravy. It's super fragrant and rich! You will definitely want to slurp all the soup+gravy+yong tau foo as shown below!

This is really the best laksa Yong Tau Foo that I have ever tried and the best dish in the canteen. It is cheap and the gravy is really very delicious. They give you just enough gravy to fill up your noodles and ingredients. This shows how popular their laksa is and how they want to ensure no wastage! Although the queue is long most of the time, it is worth waiting as the noodles are simply slurping good. The noodles are reasonably given and are cooked to the right texture. They have quite a var

i visited my friends at NUS, tried their arts faculty canteen food. apparently i heard people tell me the food was nice. i ordered their yong tau foo. it was not bad. the ingredients were fresh and there were quite a lot to choose from. i ordered mine dry, the sauce that they topped my yong tau foo was quite delicious, not too sweet or salty. it gives the yong tau foo ingredients an additional flavour! most importantly, it was really cheap, can't find such cheap and delicious food outside.
